What IterJobs collects, why, who processes it, how long it is kept, and how to export or delete your data.

This policy explains what data the hosted IterJobs web app collects and what happens to it.
This policy is about the web app at app.iterjobs.com and the marketing site at iterjobs.com.
What we collect
- Account data — your name, email address and a hashed password (if you use one). Signing in with Google gives us your name and email from Google.
- Application data — everything you enter: companies, roles, statuses, dates, notes, job descriptions and contacts.
- Billing data — your plan and subscription status. Card details never reach us; they are handled by our payment provider.
- Service data — the minimum needed to run and protect the service: sessions, rate-limit counters, and error logs.
Why we collect it
To provide the service you signed up for, to keep your account secure, to bill Pro subscriptions, and to understand in aggregate how the product is used (for example, how many accounts create a first application). We do not sell your data, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare — hosting and the database.
- Paddle — payment processing and tax handling for Pro subscriptions. Paddle is the merchant of record.
- Resend — transactional email (verification, password reset, receipts).
Marketing pages use privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics. The app itself sets one signed-in hint cookie that contains no secret and grants nothing.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your applications, history, rounds and contact details are removed from the live database immediately. Automated backups expire on their own schedule (weekly exports are kept for eight weeks, and point-in-time recovery covers the last 30 days).
Your rights
You can export everything (CSV or JSON) from the account page at any time, and delete your account and all its data there too. If you have any other request — access, correction, or a question about this policy — email us and we’ll help.
Changes
We’ll update the date at the top when this policy changes. Material changes will be announced in the app.
